NW001 is an epigenetic immune-modulating antibody conjugate (EIMAC) with global patent protection, co-developed by Chipscreen Biosciences and Chipscreen Newway. Its antibody component is a humanized anti-PD-L1 monoclonal antibody conjugated, through a proprietary design, to a novel and optimized HDACi payload.

Preclinical studies have shown that NW001 has significant antitumor activity in models that are insensitive or resistant to PD-L1 monoclonal antibodies and can further enhance the efficacy of PD-L1 monoclonal antibodies in sensitive models.NW001 has also demonstrated favorable pharmacokinetic characteristics and safety and tolerability profiles in preclinical non-human primate studies.NW001 is designed to enhance the therapeutic window of epigenetic immunotherapy by leveraging the validated mechanism of epigenetic and immune checkpoint combination therapy. It has the potential to deliver broad antitumor activity beyond that of traditional immune checkpoint inhibitors.

The clinical trial application for NW001 for Injection was accepted for review in August 2026.
